Daily Journal

losses become gains

As someone who knows loss well (like, really well) and knows how much of a game-changer journaling is to a healing journey and processing grief—this journal was a no-brainer.

But for me so many others out there, journaling can be intimidating. Where to even start, right? With the blank page staring back at you, I wanted to take the guesswork out of it. I knew that if I wanted a journaling habit to actually stick, it would need one that is quick, effective, digs deep, and asks important questions to get me going.

When I was trying to find a way to journal my thoughts and sort through my grief, I wanted an honest check-in with myself that wasn’t going to take me an hour of hand-cramping and feeling stuck. I couldn’t find the right journal that really spoke to the needs of a griever, so I created it!

Hi, I'm Tara!

5 Minutes a Day
A QUICK DAILY CHECK IN
Catered to Grievers
Simple and Impactful

Why is journaling like this important? Because amidst the challenges and turmoil of grief, we rarely go inward to check in on ourselves, ask how we really are, what we really want out of life now that we've suffered a loss, and what actions we can take to help get us there. These answers often lie within us, and I wanted to provide an easy, straightforward, but impactful way to do exactly that. This will become a welcomed part of your morning and evening routine in no time.

"The prompt that you used in the journal is really easy to use. I love it because I can find three things everyday to be grateful for, I try not to use the same gratitudes when I journal."

Why does this journal matter?

Rather than feeling overwhelmed with free writing and tapping into your emotions when you may not know where to start, this prompted journal is where true reflection and progress can take place. With daily check-ins, you can see how you'll undoubtedly grow in the big and small ways. Your healing and evolution with your grief and hardships becomes clearer right before your eyes, page by page.

Why would we try and use a more generalized journal when grief is so not... general? It's complex, complicated, unique to each of us, and this is why journaling can be do difficult and stressful. Especially if it's a more generic journal. I wanted to take the stress out of an already stressful situation, to de-complicate it, and to shape it into something that grievers, specifically, so desperately need.

So I created my own system. One that works for me, and grievers like me, my clients, and those who really crave that daily moment of reflection within a quick prompt that works without the pressure. I love where simplicity and impact collide (and in an aeathetically pleasing way like a cute and elevated journal), and that’s the heart and soul of this daily reflection journal.

By challenging our grief, we're opening our minds, hearts, and souls up to something bigger than ourselves.

We come to know and understand there's more to learn here.
